Ngurratjuta Iltja Ntjarra Art Centre
Based in Alice Springs the Ngurratjuta Art Centre was established in 2003 to provide a place for Western Arrernte Artists to paint, learn new techniques and share ideas. The Art Centre currently supports over 400 artists supporting artists who paint in both the Hermannsburg School style watercolour artists in the tradition of Albert Namatjira as well as fine dot work and bold contemporary paintings.
Ngurratjuta supports a range of established contemporary artists as well as many new and emerging painters who are developing their skills. The artworks produced through Ngurratjuta display a wide variety of styles from landscape watercolours to fine dot work and bold contemporary paintings.
