Exhibition Overview
In collaboration with Ernabella Arts, Outstation presents this exhibition of dynamic new work. Featuring paintings by Nura Rupert, Gordon Inkatji, Tjariya, Nininigka Lewis, Pantjiti Lionel, Tjunkiya Tapaya and others.
Established in 1948, Ernabella Arts is the oldest, continuously operating, Indigenous Art Centre in Australia. Ernabella artists have achieved wide spread recognition for their weavings, batiks, paintings and prints, ceramics, woodcarvings and hand woven spinifex baskets and sculptures. Today painting and ceramics are the main art forms. Ernabella work is represented in the major public galleries of Australia and in private collections in Australia and overseas.
