10 August - 10 September 2010

Outstation - art from art centres is very proud to present Lydia Balbal's fourth solo exhibition in conjunction with Short St Gallery.  Although Lydia only began painting in 2007 she has quickly established herself as an artistof great merit and her works are now found in many public and private collections.

This exhibition was described by Nicholas Rothwell as both "remarkable" and the "...aesthetic peak.." of exhibitions coinciding with the 27th National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards in his piece in The Australian (more information below).
