Exhibition Overview

Five Strong Men is the third installment in a stunning showcase of desert painting on exhibition from the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands currently being shown at Outstation – art from art centres.  A follow up to the two previous and very successful exhibitions from the same region of north-western South Australia (work from Tjunga Palya and Tjala Arts), the men from Ninuku Arts will be displaying their compelling work from Friday 16th September onwards.   Profiled artists include 2010 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award winner Jimmy Donegan, along with Harry Tjutjuna, Stanley Young, Sandy Brumby and Samuel Miller.
