New Exhibition
Waralyirti Artists: Yukan - New Moon

Outstation Gallery and Warlayirti Artists are proud to present an exciting exhibition featuring new works from the Balgo region in north-west Western Australia. Warlayirti Artists is one of Australia’s leading Indigenous Art and Culture Centres and many artists have achieved considerable recognition for their uniquely vibrant paintings. The exhibition features new works from artists including Pauline Sunfly, Theresa Nowee, Brian Mudgedell, Sarah Daniels, Miriam Baadjo, and Imelda Gugaman.
Please join us for the opening at 6pm on Thursday 13th August at Outstation Gallery. David Mudgedell, Garreth Taylor and Jacinta Lulu three artists from Balgo, will be in attendance.

Curating the Curator Over the opening weekend of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Awards (NATSIAA) and Darwin Festival, three young employees of Warlayirti Artists will participate in a project titled “Curating the Curators”. Outstation is supporting this project as part of our ongoing commitment to Aboriginal owned and controlled art centres. The project aims to create opportunities for these art centre workers and to assist them to gain a better understanding of the broader arts industry.
Other News The last exhibition Alwarawara - Side by Side which featured new paintings by emerging artists from the APY Lands (Tjala Arts, Ninuku Arts and Tjungu Palya) has been a huge success with most paintings in the exhibition selling within the first week of its opening! Some fantastic new works from these art centres have recently arrived at the gallery.
