Vibrant bush colour and a tonal palette marks this exhibition of fibre and canvas from the small community at Peppimenarti, south-west of Daly River. Durrmu artists are known for their textile work and painted interpretations of woven pattern. Dedicated to Patsy Marfurra who passed away earlier this year and was a vibrant presence in the art centre, her intricate and mesmerizing paintings feature strongly in this body of work.
